Klismaphilia - Causes, Symptoms & Treatment

Klismaphilia (sometimes spelled Klysmaphilia) is the paraphilia of deriving sexual pleasure from enemas. There are two main purposes of enemas: cleansing and for personal satisfaction. Klismaphiliacs use enemas mostly for the latter purpose and use it frequently. Some practitioners in the sex industry offer enemas to cater to klismaphiliac desires. Klismaphilia may be adjunctive to rubber fetishism or to bondage and discipline. The condition in which a person is dependent on being given an enema, or on the restaging of it in fantasy, in order to obtain erotic arousal and facilitate or achieve orgasm. Klismaphilia is very common in women, but some males do have this fetish as well. Using enemas for satisfactory purposes are often discovered at an early age, because our rectum has so many nerve endings. The inserting of the enema nozzle stimulates the sphincter and the muscles surrounding the rectum. As females probably know, this type of stimulation of the rectum and colon can provide the same sort of stimulation as regular sesual acts. The pressure caused by filling your rectum with various enema solutions can mimick regular inter-course. In the male, the anterior wall of the rectum is next to the prostate and seminal vesicles.
